Description
The second necklace in my series summitted to the Queer metalsmiths exhibitions in 2024.
This necklace was inspired by an antique carved conch, crafted by the ancient Maya.
I hand carved an eagle into the second vintage Tahitian shell plate. This one was for me to create a tangible piece of Ñuu'savi luxury. I accented this piece with a dead stock Lapis Lazuli Skull, vintage Bamboo Coral and vintage Obsidian from Apache land in Arizona.
The bone beads where found at a local flea market here in the Lower East Side The hand knotted strand is adored with out iconic Techichi clasp
