Description
As I delved deeper into the Ñuu'savi codices, the writings of indigenous scholar Omar Aguilar Sanchez, "Ñuu Savi: Pasado, presente y futuro. Descolonización, continuidad cultural y re-apropiación de los códices mixtecos en el Pueblo de la Lluvia," captured my attention. The intricate iconography featured in these codices, along with the influence of other artists who draw from Aztec traditions, served as inspiration for my latest creation: a select line of bold, statement earrings that embody my newfound knowledge. These earrings are just the beginning of a series that will continuously remind me of the powerful words and histories I have uncovered.
Each one of these earrings is made with a bezel set freshwater pearl i got from a jeweler that retired. The post is sterling silver for ease of wear.
Due to the hand made nature of these earrings please allow 7-10 business days for production.
