Description
While looking at pictures of the Ñuu'savi codices I saw this depiction of a shell, and thought it would be a great addition to my collection of one of a kind iconography collection.
Each one was made from hand formed copper wire that was antiqued to make the shells really stand out. i wanted to make a collection of unique jewels that were embellished with these very stunning very gorgeous one of a kind Vintage Cantera Opals.
Cantera Opals, come from Queretaro Mexico and can only be found there. You can call them the Mexican version of the Australian Boulder Opal.
The word Ndiyiyi is Tu'un savi for snail.
The backs of the earrings are an ear climber so the opal goes east to west on the ear.
